Mindfulness Groups for Clients

At New Pathways we offer small group mindfulness programs for emotion regulation and for managing stress in everyday life.  Our facilitators are trained in trauma informed mindfulness skills that can be a complement to ongoing therapy or an introduction to establishing a regular mindfulness practice.

Mindfulness Training for Emotional Resilience

Mindfulness Training for Emotional Resilience (MTER) is a 4 week psychoeducational program that helps participants build essential skills for emotional awareness and resilience in everyday life.  This program focuses on mindfulness skills for mental health and combines:

  • Psycho-education on emotional regulation and the neuroscience of mindfulness
  • Simple mindfulness practices that can be followed in daily life.

MTER is a trauma-informed program and can be accessible to people needing immediate skills for emotional stabilization as well as people who are interested in a brief, practical approach to learning mindfulness skills for maintain their mental health.
