Welcome!
I am a registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 12 years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings. I have a deep professional and personal interest in providing care to neuro and gender-diverse individuals and use a variety of approaches including DBT, Mindfulness, and CBT as well as the Safe and Sound Protocol. I truly believe that once we are able to regulate our bodies we will be able to regulate the world around us.
“I have a deep professional and personal interest in providing care to neuro and gender-diverse individuals”
My Background
For over a decade I have been providing support to individuals using a compassionate, trauma-informed, affirming approach. My areas of interest include ADHD, Autism, Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety, and depression. I have formal training in CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Safe and Sound Protocol. I blend evidence-based practices with compassionate guidance, validating your experiences while challenging you to embrace positive change. Together we will create an environment which promotes neurodiverse resilience in a neurotypical world.
Education
I graduated from York University with a Master’s of Social Work in 2013 and am in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services workers (OCSWSSW). Since graduating I have taken a variety of formal training including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). Additionally I have trained in how to use these modalities with neuro and gender diverse individuals.
Harness the mind-body connection to create new pathways in your life.
At New Pathways Therapy Center, we believe therapy is a collaborative process. We don’t just sit back and listen. We look forward to supporting you on your journey towards healing, balance and growth.
