Fees

Our fees range from $125-200 a session for all services that are 50 minutes in length. Longer sessions are prorated by the half-hour. Social Work services are exempt from HST. HST is charged for services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist.

Standard Neurofeedback Fees

Intake Assessment (~1.5 hours) — $225

  • Includes a consultation, standardized QIK test, and Results Tracking System (RTS) for symptom tracking

  • QIK test will be administered during the first neurofeedback session

Each subsequent individual session (~1 hour) — $150

  • 20 sessions are typically recommended

  • First and last session will include a QIK test

Reassessment (~1.5 hours) — $150

  • Includes a neurofeedback session and a QIK test

Total cost for the intake, 20 sessions, and reassessment is $3225.

Most health plans provide coverage for mental health services provided by Registered Social Workers or Registered Psychotherapists. Please contact them to confirm if you are covered. After receiving neurofeedback service, we will provide you with a receipt with all the information your benefits provider will need. To receive reimbursement, you will use this receipt to submit an insurance claim.

Payment

We accept e-transfer, cheques, credit card and Interac payments.

Extended Health Benefits

Most health plans provide coverage for mental health services provided by Registered Social Workers or Registered Psychotherapists. Please contact them to confirm if you are covered. After providing service, we will provide you with a receipt with all the info your benefits provider will need and you submit it to them to receive reimbursement.

Tax Credit For Medical Expenses

All of your out-of-pocket expenses for services can be claimed as a Medical Expense on your yearly income. Speak to CRA or your accountant for more details.

Sliding Scale and Student Discounts

We are able to provide a limited number of sliding scale slots and can offer a discounted fee for students.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice for the cancellation of appointments. This allows us time to offer this appointment slot to people on the waiting list with enough advanced notice. The full fee is charged for late cancellation.

Confidentiality Policy

All aspects of client involvement will be held in utmost confidence in accordance with the ethical guidelines and standards of practice set out by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Personally identifiable information regarding clients is not discussed or disclosed, directly or indirectly, without the prior written consent of the client.

Privacy Policy

All documentation (electronic and hard copy) is safely stored and protected in adherence with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

How Much Does Neurofeedback Therapy Cost?

A neurofeedback clinician will be working with you to develop a protocol. The clinician is either a Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist; they will be responsible for making decisions about your protocol.
