Breanne Benson,
MACP Candidate (she/her)
Client Intake Coordinator, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Welcome!
My name is Breanne and I am an MA candidate at Sofia University, pursuing my master's degree in counseling psychology. I am also a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction facilitator with the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto. I have almost two decades experience in mindfulness meditation and believe cultivating self awareness is foundational to creating meaningful transformation.
As a Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist, I incorporate a heart-centered approach to facilitate restoring a person’s inner balance and aliveness. My therapeutic foundation focuses on the holistic connection of body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Supporting clients as they explore what may be getting in the way of fulfilling connection with themselves and others.
I am excited to meet you and would be happy to have a conversation to see if we are a good fit to work together.
“By regulating the nervous system and enlivening a sense of inner safety, we can begin to open ourselves to our heart's deepest longings.”
Approach To Therapy
I draw on my belief that the body holds deep wisdom of our life experiences and implement skills from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to facilitate awareness of conditioned or protective patterns that might limit access to their innate wholeness.
By regulating the nervous system and enlivening a sense of inner safety, we can begin to open ourselves to our heart's deepest longings. From this place, one’s authentic presence can lead in a more meaningful way, helping them create a life filled with aliveness, meaning, and expansive freedom.
I am excited to meet you and would be happy to have a conversation to see if we are a good fit to work together.
Harness the mind-body connection to create new pathways in your life.
At New Pathways Therapy Center, we believe therapy is a collaborative process. We don’t just sit back and listen. We look forward to supporting you on your journey towards healing, balance and growth.
