Associate Psychotherapist Position – New Pathways Therapy Centre

New Pathways Therapy Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician to join our team.

Located in downtown Toronto, New Pathways specializes in somatic therapy for the treatment of trauma and stress-related conditions. We are a collective of therapists dedicated to working in community, offering cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies that integrate mind-body approaches for deep healing.

About the Role

This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of online and in-person sessions. We are looking for a therapist who can commit to 10–20 hours per week, with availability for evening and weekend shifts.

We are seeking a clinician with certification in somatic therapy, with a preference for EMDR training. As a holistic mental health clinic, we emphasize nervous system regulation and tailor therapeutic approaches to meet clients where they are in their healing journey.

Our clinic also provides neurofeedback therapy and is a proud member of the Neurofeedback Advocacy Project, a nonprofit organization that offers high-quality, low-cost training and supervision to clinicians serving vulnerable populations.

Additionally, we are developing a model of care for psychedelic-informed psychotherapy and welcome therapists with an interest in psychedelic integration therapy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of clinical experience

  • Ontario registration as a Registered Social Worker (RSW) or Registered Psychotherapist (RP)

  • Certification in EMDR

  • Training in somatic psychotherapy, such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, or a similar approach

  • Interest in integrative mind-body, brain-based therapies, and a neurocounselling approach

Why Join New Pathways?

  • Work in a supportive, collaborative team environment that values therapist well-being

  • Be part of a clinic that is innovating mental health care through neurofeedback, somatic therapy, and psychedelic-informed approaches

  • Access training and professional development opportunities through our partnerships and collective model

  • Join a mission-driven practice that prioritizes community, accessibility, and evidence-based healing

  • Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid role with both online and in-person sessions
